i guess it's been awhile since i've posted...i guess i'll do a short, quick post. I got a new computer, it's pretty sweet...i'm already having a few problems with it tho. oh well. I got 4 speakers & a subwoofer for $30, so the surround sound is nice too. fun stuff.

i also got a job at the AMC 24 near Willowbrook mall, so i've been busy this weekend working there, i have work tomorrow from 12:00 - 9:00...that's a really long shift, but it's not too tough. i get free drinks, free popcorn, free icees, and (best of all) free movies. I can also bring 1 guest and/or 4 family members in with me for free...but those are sorta general guidelines, it mainly depends on whether or not the movie is sold out basically. hot dogs & nachos only cost me $1 instead of $3.50 or however much they normally cost...

unfortunately, i only get the free drinks & $1 hot dogs & nachos when i'm in uniform. For the free movies i just have to mention that i work there and i'll be on a list and then i get it approved by a manager and i can get the tickets, so i don't need to be in uniform for that.

i just got home from work not too long ago. I'm tired. I'm goin to bed. g'night all, if anybody even reads this anymore :) lol.

umm.....yep. Cya later, peeps.

So it´s Friday...my flight back to the US leaves from Quito at 7:30 on Sunday morning, so i´ll have to wake up at like 4 AM on Sunday so that i can be there 3 hours ahead of time like you´re *SUPPOSED* to be for any international flight. If you ask me, that´s a waste of time, because last time i did that (which would be on Jan 12. when i was getting ready to come back to Ecuador after Christmas break) i ended up spending 2 and a half hours sitting around in the airport with my parents just waiting for the boarding time to come along. So anywho, my aunt and I went to the bus station yesterday to get a ticket to Quito. I don´t know if i explained why i´m taking a bus yet, so i´ll go ahead and do that. See, originally i had a flight to Quito on Saturday, but since it´s Easter Sunday, they don´t fly at all this weekend, so if i had wanted to go on plane, i´d have to have gone yesterday, Thursday. 3 days in Quito, where i don´t know anybody but my cousins, aunt, & uncle? no thanks. So i opted to take the bus on Saturday, even though it´s going to be a long and boring ride. i think it´s about a 9 hour ride or so... Oh well

At any rate, that entire previous paragraph all leads up to one simple little thing. This is my last xanga post in Ecuador. *cries* i know, i´m gonna miss it too, just like all of you. and i know you´re all going to miss it, don´t deny it. But it´s ok, once i´m in the US i can continue putting lotsa pointless posts just like i´ve been doing here, so don´t worry :)

Also, i was talking with a friend the other day who was in my Creative Writing class Junior year and i asked her if she´s seen my 3 stories. She told me i should post them on my xanga, which i´ve actually already done, but i decided to make a completely new xanga where i can post them so you don´t have to go rummaging through all my old posts to find them. The 3 stories are The Trek, Unlocked, and the third one is actually just my college essay.

Ok, i´m going to go make a new xanga right now so i can post them all...I´ll make another post on this xanga when i´m done saying what the name of my new xanga is. And those of you who are interested in reading my stories can go to that new xanga and read away :) k, i´m off

it´s been over a week since i last posted, and i´ll bet lotsa you are thinking it´s due to my laziness. Well, i´ll have you know that, as lazy as i may be, my laziness had nothing to do with my lack of posts. Last Tuesday there was a storm, and ever since i haven´t been able to get online...Finally my aunt called the internet company and this guy came over to fix it up real good. So now i have internet again. Joy!

6 days left...on Saturday i make my way to Quito and on Sunday it´s back to the good ol´ US of A. I´m pretty eager to be on my way, but i think that´s only because it´s almost time for me to go home...for instance, if i had chosen to stay until June, i think i´d be fine staying here, and i wouldn´t be so eager to go home. One thing i´m DEFINITELY going to be excited about is cable modem when i get home. That, and the new computer that i´m pretty sure my parents are gonna be getting me. sweeeeeeeeeeet.

Later today i need to go pick up my last 3 movies from the gym... it´s not what you think though, 2 of the movies i had (Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and 007: Die Another Day) were bad copies so i took them back and asked the guy who works at the gym to burn them again for me...then, i noticed they had a few new movies so i went ahead and asked for Once Upon A Time In Mexico. I generally am a little sketchy as far as buying movies that i´ve never seen before (Even if it is for $3.50...In fact, except for Once Upon A Time In Mexico, i´ve seen every movie that i bought) but i´ve heard nothing but good things for that movie.

Ah yes, Antonio Banderas...some of my closer friends know that i´ve been compared to him before (Prom ´02) and while i was at school the other day, with my hair let down i was compared to him yet again. All i need is a guitar and the illusion is complete! Seriously, my friends here say that with my hair let down i look exactly like him. Awesome? I think so.

So, last Thursday was like my last day of high school all over again...we had vacation on Friday, and like i said in my last post, i don´t really have any more school. I´m gonna visit the school next Friday just to say my last farewells, and (if at all possible) invite some friends and have a little party.

oh yeah, and on Thursday night i went to a discoteca where the entire school was invited to and saw a small concert dealy. A group called Sobrepeso played (Luli, Cristi, you 2 might know who they are...) apparently they´re a really popular group here and they´re all from Cuenca

kinda a random post, but it´s all good. Still amazed at how the time goes by.

Another school year come and gone. Oh, some cool news is that i think my parents are going to buy me a new computer this summer since i got that scholarship. My plans for this summer:

1) Job. I need a job. I need money. Money is always a very, very happy thing.

2) I wanna visit Dallas sometime shortly after i get home so i can get all the stuff that i need to do there done. Hopefully, I´ll be able to visit with Melinda, if her parents let her...

3) Possibly visit my bro in LA...(that was my mom´s idea, she suggested i visit him for about a week or so...ROAD TRIP! hehe)

4) Party with friends, that´s also a pretty happy thing.

5) Almost definitely gonna go to Galveston, probably multiple times. My mom bought the Galveston house from all her sisters and is apparently putting alot of effort (and money, i might add) into fixing it up properly, so Galveston will probably be really cool.

6) There is no 6. At least, there´s nothing else that i can think of. I just put this one to fool you all and make you read a little bit more, just wasting your precious time. Just think, after having read all this, you have a few seconds less with which to live your life. You´re just that much closer to death. Suckers! lol
